How about some examples of what armor made out of the three indicated types of foam?

Do you have any suggestions for making mockups? I'm working on my first major armor endeavor, N7 armor from Mass Effect, and the pattern came in one size and as soon as I printed it I saw it would never fit someone as well endowed as me, and I know I will need to grade them, but I wanted to see how they might fit as they are. I traced over the original and am cutting out the tracing paper pattern pieces, and the tracing paper is so flimsy I can't drape it over myself or see how it will look in 3d. I've already gone over budget on foam alone, and I don't have enough budget to make a mockup with foam. I have experience period costuming, and I often go through several mockups, but for my period costuming projects I use fabric and I am much better at getting ahold of free or near free sheets or tablecloths than foam, and fabric can be stitched together with a few rough stitches and you'll get an idea of the fit, with foam you need heat and glue. Should I try a cardstock mockup? This is my first time doing a full suit of armor and any suggestions are appreciated!

I’m getting into resin art and I’ve been diving into 3D printer info so that I can create my own custom molds. If I print using TPU, that should allow me to just straight up print the flexible mold in itself, correct? Usually molds are silicon or rubber so I’m wondering if it would be similar? I’ve been under the impression that I’ll have to print the end product to create a silicon mold to then pour the resin into and that’s just so much! Thanks for any advice you’re able to share!

Nice tip to try Barge with 3D printed parts. I'll try it out..Got a quart of Barge cement recently for foam. Will try it on PLA as well

Are Hairdryers fine to use for EVA foam modeling?

We will never go there again. And we live in Stuart. My wife bought a custom made purse, AAA. That turned out to be great. The Honey we bought is crap, not pure and not orange blossom. Tomatoes, the old lady switch the basket I hander her. For rotten tomatoes. Know I know why they where arguing in chinese behind the counter. Mushrooms we bought have NO flavor. I use to pick shitakes in Oregon, so I know.
